Our mission is to serve as a stable anchor for youth aging out of foster care by providing safe housing, guidance, and opportunities that foster healing, self-sufficiency, and a brighter future.
Our Leader
Pamaika McGee is the Founder & Executive Director of AnchorPointe Youth Housing, a visionary leader whose work is deeply rooted in faith and lived experience. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where youth aging out of foster care can heal, grow, and build a stable future.
Pamaika is an adoptive mother to a son who entered foster care at just 3 months old. Through her journey as a parent, she witnessed firsthand both the beauty and the brokenness of the foster care system—especially the moment when young people age out and are expected to stand on their own without a support system.
Through prayer and obedience, God placed this mission on her heart.
She believes that no young adult should age out of foster care without an anchor—someone to stand in the gap, speak life, and provide guidance rooted in love and truth. AnchorPointe Youth Housing was created to reflect God’s heart for the fatherless, offering not just housing, but hope, belonging, and direction.
Pamaika leads with faith, compassion, accountability, and service, partnering with churches, mentors, and community organizations to help young adults discover their God-given purpose and walk confidently into adulthood.
We aim to make a lasting impact in our community by supporting youth as they navigate this critical phase of life. Our programs are designed to instill confidence and self-sufficiency.

Our Program Director
Darrell Carson is a dedicated leader and lifelong servant to both country and community, bringing discipline, integrity, and compassion to his role as Program Director of AnchorPointe Youth Housing.
A proud Iraq War veteran, Darrell served honorably in the United States military, earning an honorable discharge. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to service through civil service, maintaining a strong focus on supporting and uplifting others.
As a father, Darrell understands the importance of stability, structure, and positive guidance in shaping the lives of young people. His passion for community service and mentorship aligns deeply with AnchorPointe’s mission to empower youth transitioning out of foster care.
Darrell is committed to creating safe, supportive environments where young adults can develop life skills, build independence, and establish a strong foundation for long-term success. His leadership plays a vital role in helping youth not only overcome challenges, but truly thrive.

Calvin’s journey reflects resilience and transformation. Having faced instability and challenges at an early age, he understands the obstacles at-risk youth encounter without direction, support, and opportunity. His life took a turning point when he discovered his calling as an electrician, guided by mentorship and leadership from Darrell Carson. Through that experience, Calvin gained not only a trade, but also purpose, discipline, and a renewed vision for his future.
Today, Calvin is dedicated to mentoring our youth, helping them build practical life and career skills, develop confidence, and create a path toward stability and independence. His hands-on leadership and lived experience allow him to connect with youth in a meaningful way, offering both guidance and accountability.
Calvin is passionate about creating second chances and believes that with the right support, every young person has the ability to rewrite their story. His commitment to service continues to impact lives by turning past struggles into a foundation for growth, restoration, and success.
